A Dual Language Immersion (DLI) program is an educational model where students are taught academic subjects in two languages, typically 50/50. At Baldwin our program offers half the day taught in English, and the other half in Spanish. The goal is to develop students who are bilingual and biliterate, proficient in both languages. This approach not only improves language skills but also enhances cognitive development, cultural understanding, and academic achievement.

 

Information about the 2026-27 DLI Application

The application is available from Monday, March 16 at 7:00 a.m. - Friday, May 8 at 3:00 p.m.

Families can submit more than one application, but the most recent submission will be used for the lottery.

After completing the application, families will receive a parent confirmation to the email address provided. The email will be in the language selected to complete the application.
